My entry into the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) student competition. The purpose of this project is to promote the ideals set out in the United Nation's Sustainable Development Agenda. Focusing on protecting the marine environment by educating and informing the public about plastic pollution in our oceans and its detrimental effects.

Audience
This publication is intended primarily for members of the general public who may not have an in-depth understanding of ocean pollutants but are sympathetic to issues faced by our oceans. The publication structure reflects this with the use of infographics and easy-to-read statistics to explain hard data in an easy-to-digest manner.
Rationale
The intention of the book was to lay out the facts and show the predicament we are in, then build towards solutions and how governments and institutions are trying to solve the problems we face while highlighting the areas where we are making progress on the one hand, and where we are falling short on the other.
